EVENT IN BRIEF

It’s a vital time in human resources, as some of the currently most salient issues in organizational life fall under HR’s purview.

According to Forbes research, chief human resources officers (CHROs) are driving big changes in company policies, with more than half of them now allowing greater work location flexibility and 95% of them spending more on employee wellness and benefits. Among other areas in which HR execs are playing key roles are R&I, the intense competition for quality workers in today’s market and the increasingly important business of articulating companies’ core values. How CHROs and other executives charged with HR-related decisions perform their duties will, more and more, define how organizations function.

The Forbes CHRO Forward Summit brought together prominent CHROs and business leaders to discuss how HR decision-makers can navigate the issues enumerated above and others at a time when work culture and the relationship between employees and the companies they work for are in flux.
